Missionaries
This year, First Presbyterian Church is honored to support 32 missionary units and 2 short-term missionaries serving in some of the world’s most influential cities. We partner with missionaries serving around the world, bringing the Gospel to unreached people groups, supporting local churches, and meeting practical needs in their communities. These faithful servants often work in challenging environments, and we are honored to support them through prayer, encouragement, and resources.

World Relief and Development
Acts 10:38, “…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.” Doing good is what the Lord has created us to do, (Ephesians 2:10, Titus 3:14). We know that many people around the world will suffer from natural disasters. Some of these events will affect our missionaries, churches, and our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. The World Relief and Development Fund helps us to respond to disaster and to help those communities where we have ministry to develop strategies for economic development.

Medical Missions
Matthew 4:23 says, “And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.” Our Lord Jesus heals people, and this shows he cares for our bodies and our souls. Medical missions brings the love and compassion of Christ though our teams who have medical skills. It is a wonderful ministry of love and caring. They share Christ, and they help to heal.
